Isa Martin

Isa is an associate of Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. He provides advice to both borrower and lender side clients on all stages of the funding lifecycle. His clients include private equity funds, hedge funds, banks and non-bank lenders. He advises on fund finance, aircraft finance, structured finance, and all types of collateral and other credit support arrangements. Isa also has experience in general corporate and commercial matters.

Isa joined the Maples Group as an associate in 2024. Before joining the Maples Group, Isa worked for Linklaters in the United Kingdom, and Herbert Smith Freehills in Australia, where he advised clients on a wide range of financing transactions. He also spent time on secondment in Singapore with Herbert Smith Freehills’ aviation finance group.
