Krista Samuels

Krista is and associate in Ogier's Investment Funds team in the Cayman Islands. She advises on a wide range of private equity and hedge fund matters. Krista regularly acts for a variety of clients including fund managers, investment banks and corporate trustees on establishing and structuring hedge and private equity funds, as well as providing on-going corporate and funds advice.

Before joining Ogier, Krista worked as an investment funds lawyer at another leading international law firm in the Cayman Islands.

Krista graduated from University of Greenwich in 2015 with Honours in Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Psychology. She worked as a Probation Officer for nearly four years in the Cayman Islands and obtained the Graduate Diploma of Law with Distinction in 2019 at University of Law (online). After this she obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction at the University of Law (Manchester) in 2020. Krista is a member of 100 Women in Finance and the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
