Max Galt

Max is a senior associate in Ogier's Cayman Islands litigation practice and advises corporations, individuals and regulatory bodies on a range of contentious issues. He has acted in high-value and high-profile cases in the UK, Jersey and the Cayman Islands.

Max's experience includes contentious company law, fraud and asset tracing, contentious trust and private client, insolvency and restructurings, enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards, professional negligence, and regulatory matters (both for the regulator and the regulated). He regularly represents clients before first instance and appellate courts.

Before emigrating to the Cayman Islands and joining Ogier, Max worked for another offshore firm in Jersey. Prior to that, Max qualified and practised in England.
