Melissa Thomas

Melissa is an associate of Maples and Calder’s Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. She advises on the formation and restructuring of all types of investment funds, including registered mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds. She also advises on a broad range of financial transactions, as well as general finance, corporate and commercial matters.

Melissa joined the Funds & Investment Management team at the Maples Group as an associate in 2024. Prior to joining the Maples Group, Melissa spent six years working with an international law firm in the British Virgin Islands.
