About

Rebecca has 'been an invaluable member of the team and done a terrific job. This would have been a lot harder without Rebecca's support, and she also remained calm throughout which is no mean feat.'

Rebecca is a managing associate in Ogier’s Cayman Islands Dispute Resolution team specialising in contentious funds and insolvency, fraud and asset tracing, and contentious regulatory matters, and private client disputes. She acts for institutional investors, funds, office holders and financial institutions on complex, cross-border and high-value disputes, frequently arising out of the failure of Cayman investment structures and Exempted Limited Partnerships.

She has played a leading role in some of the jurisdiction’s most substantial recent disputes, including the multi-workstream Cayman litigation arising from the collapse of the Abraaj Group and is recognised by Legal 500 Caribbean as a Key Lawyer for dispute resolution.

Rebecca has acted on matters including fund litigation, contractual disputes, financial services litigation, regulatory investigations, fraud and economic tort claims, shareholder and joint venture disputes, enforcement matters, and general commercial litigation.

Before joining Ogier, Rebecca was part of the disputes team at a high profile law firm in London.
