Robin Anthony Harding

Robin is a partner in Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. He has extensive experience in international capital markets, banking, fund finance, Islamic finance, structured finance (particularly CLOs), securitisations, repackagings, credit funds and other CLO investment structures and listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange. Robin has extensive experience of advising investment managers and banks on structured finance orphan trust structures and on financings to unit trusts. He represents borrowers, large bank syndicates and managers on lending transactions and all types of secured transactions. Robin also has considerable expertise in all aspects of establishing and maintaining both closed and open-ended hedge funds as well as private equity funds in the form of corporate entities, limited partnerships and segregated portfolio companies and general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions and joint venture arrangements.
